PATRICK DEMPSEY JOINS TAG HEUER AT THE GOODWOOD FESTIVAL OF SPEED

To launch the TAG Heuer Formula 1 James Hunt Limited Edition timepiece to mark the 40th Anniversary of British Motor Racing Legend James Hunt’s win of the Formula One World Championships, Hollywood actor and racing driver Patrick Dempsey joined Freddie and Tom Hunt in the Goodwood Festival of Speed Drivers Club.

Other attendees at this very special weekend included racing drivers Derek Bell and Jenson Button, Hollywood actor Keanu Reeves and TAG Heuer Friend of the Brand Sabine Holbrock.

The legacy of James Hunt, a maverick of his era and so-called ‘rebel of the track’, continues with the launch of two special anniversary TAG Heuer Formula 1 timepieces. The pair of limited edition watches, are the result of an exclusive TAG Heuer partnership with The Hunt Foundation and a creative collaboration with James Hunt’s son and fellow racing professional, Freddie Hunt.

In true racing spirit, the special TAG Heuer Formula 1 timepieces were launched at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the UK’s premiere motoring experience.

TAG Heuer returned to Goodwood for its sixth year as the Official Timing Partner of the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The luxury Swiss watch brand first partnered with the world’s largest event of its kind in 2011, since when it has introduced a number of innovations, including the glamorous TAG Heuer Drivers’ Club – now in its third year.

The TAG Heuer Pavilion was a mecca for watch and motor sport enthusiasts, playing home to some very special exhibits. Highlights included the James Hunt’s Lotus 59 and the Red Bull Racing RB12; an immersive Oculus Rift virtual reality experience that took visitors on a spellbinding 3D journey through TAG Heuer’s history; and the pick of the current TAG Heuer collection including the genre-redefining TAG Heuer Connected.
