Audi Sport leading the World Endurance Championship after finishing 1/2/3/4 at Spa on Sunday

For the 2nd race of the new FIA World Endurance Championship, Audi Sports and TAG Heuer dominated yesterday the Spa 6 hours in Begium, with a stunning one-two-three-four

Behind the wheel of the pure turbodiesel Audi R18 ultra, TAG Heuer ambassadors for Watches and Eyewear Marc Gene, Loic Duval and Romain Dumas beat the best of the Audi hybrid by 46 seconds after 6 hours of an amazing battle.

For the 1st time in the history of motorsport, the brand new Hybrid Audi R18 e-tron finished 2nd and 4th after starting from Pole Position.

"Audi's decision to opt for two concepts proved to be right," noted Ralf Juttner, technical director for Audi Sport. "The R18 e-tron quattro is a strong car but the R18 ultra, too, has certain advantages."

Spa race with the 4 cars crossing the finish line was a perfect training session for The Le Mans 24 Hours endurance classic to run on June 16-17.

Congratulations to Audi Sport and our 12 drivers for this brilliant team result, proudly promoting TAG Heuer colors, watches and eyewear.
